Very intelligent and workaholic debutant director of ‘Mukhaputa’ in Kannada (planned as ‘The Cover Page’ in English) Roopa Iyer also an actress, danseuse is in the cloud nine situation as her film on HIV positive AIDS has been selected for seven international film festivals - Portland International Film Festival, AE International Film Festival, England International Film Festival, UK – International Youth Film Festival, AVALON International Film Festival, IW – International Film Festival and International Film Festival of LONDON.

Being a proud Kannadiga I have sent this film with songs lyrics and sub-title. To my surprise they liked the songs lyrics says Roopa in her e-mail. She intends to send this Kannada Film to 6 Continents except 7th one Antarctica, where we cannot send. I really want to make them hear our sweet Kannada language and that is the reason I did not dub in English.

First festival is at IRELAND on 12th Sep 2009 where ‘Mukhaputa’ Kannada film with English subtitles will be screened.

Congratulations to Roopa Iyer for taking the Kannada film to international film festivals.
